Information Assurance

Ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of electronically held information, or Information Assurance as it is known, is a key component of Nexor’s capability.

Building on two decades of developing technology to implement security policies, including guarding capability for the intelligence community, defence ministries and NATO in particular, Nexor is recognised as a market leader in information assurance capability.

Five key aspects of our technology assist in achieving assurance that electronic information is adequately protected from unauthorised change or dissemination and ensure the information is always available:

• Security: Nexor security products and tools allow military-grade security to be enforced for new or existing mail and data solutions. The security processes are fully compatible with commercial standards to facilitate secure information sharing, thus assisting in protecting existing investment and allowing interoperability.
• Labelling: Nexor products enable a system or organisation security policy to be defined, managed and enforced. With these tools, data can be labelled and access restricted to suitably authorised individuals or roles thus enabling rigorous access controls to be applied to information in transit.
• Access Control: Nexor software can be customised to control an individual’s access based on the individual’s clearance or a set of arbitrary criteria; for example an individual might have different access rights for reading, copying or forwarding information based on, for example, location.
• Role-based: Our software can support information relevant to individuals or to roles within organisations. This enables the organisation to permit or restrict different levels of access to different individuals carrying out specific roles, as required.
• Timeliness: Nexor products and services enable organisations to guarantee timely action in accordance with stated policies.
