Current Research

Current funded research activities include:

• Integration of network sensor data into integrated governance risk and compliance solutions (www.igrc.co.uk)
• Tracking classified information assets in a corporate network
• Protecting classified data in a cloud environment.

Recent prototyping activity has also included:

• A SharePoint upload guard
• Use of Microsoft Forefront’s Unified Access Gateway (UAG) to prevent classified email being sent via ActivSync to mobile phones
